Terms of service

These terms apply to your use of the GBP Spy Chrome extension ("GBP Spy", "the extension"). GBP Spy is provided by Paul Massey trading as Lean Strategy Guru, Cornwall, United Kingdom ("we", "us"). By installing or paying for GBP Spy you agree to these terms.
1. Purchases
Orders are processed by Lemon Squeezy, which acts as merchant of record and handles payment, invoicing and sales tax. Lemon Squeezy's own terms also apply to your purchase.
2. Licence
While your subscription is active we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use GBP Spy for your own business, including work for your clients. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse engineer or attempt to bypass licence checks in the extension.
3. Plans, subscriptions and cancellation
The Free Starter plan includes a limited number of exports. The Founding Member Lifetime Pass is a one-off payment for Pro features for the lifetime of the product, for use on up to 3 Chrome browsers. Pro Monthly subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until cancelled. You can cancel at any time using the link in your purchase or renewal email; you keep access until the end of the period already paid for. Refunds are covered by our refund policy.
4. Acceptable use
You are responsible for using GBP Spy in line with the law and with the terms of the websites you use it on, including Google's terms of service. GBP Spy displays information that is already visible to you in Google Maps; it is not a scraping service and must not be used to harvest data at scale.
5. No affiliation
GBP Spy is independent and is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Google LLC. Google may change Google Maps at any time, which can temporarily affect how the extension works. We will make reasonable efforts to keep GBP Spy working but cannot guarantee uninterrupted availability.
6. Liability
GBP Spy is provided "as is". To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for decisions you make based on the information shown. Our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid for GBP Spy in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your statutory rights as a consumer.
7. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified by email or in the extension before they take effect.
8. Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
